Exploring Anaga is a voyage to a region with a natural rural feel, a journey back in time to a time when there was a much closer connection between people and their natural surroundings. This enormous park contains dense rainforest regions, occupying a significant portion of northeastern Tenerife. People visit this area to hike and see some locally endangered species. It is a protected natural area in the Canary Islands' Anaga mountains and is also known as the Anaga Rural Park.

  • Explore the area firsthand amidst the air, land, and water:

A visit to the tourist center in Cruz del Carmen, on the TF-1 road, is ideal before exploring this vast rural park. Then take a stroll along the Vueltas de Taganana path to admire the luxuriant laurel forest and Taganana, a historic village. There is nothing like a seaside plunge and a fresh seafood dish at Roque de Las Bodegas or Benijo beach to relax.

Visitors looking to spend the night here can choose to stay at the park's numerous bed and breakfasts or in the official hostel, Montes de Anaga.

  • Take advantage of the multiple terrains offered here:

It is a significant location in terms of nature, scenery, and culture, and the park contains several tourist attractions. One can test out the different pathways in this area to explore it best. Any tourist will only have this opportunity once in their lifetime, so take a stroll on the exquisite volcanic sand or go swimming in the Atlantic.
